Guilt-free Corn Fritters

Gluten-Free Corn Fritters: Vibrant, tantalizing and perfect! These adjectives just don’t do justice to the Instant corn pakoda that can be made in minutes!!

Be it a rainy day, cold winter day, or any special occasion,  pakora makes for a great snack. Pakora (fritters) is a very popular Indian snack, where potatoes, onions, corn, okara, paneer, bread and many other vegetables are coated with a lightly spiced chickpea flour batter and deep-fried or baked. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and bursting with awesome tongue-tickling flavours fritters are so good.

The best pakora is made by deep-frying in oil but as my all friends know I loved eating more healthy, so me and sonu decided to make a healthy version, by making them on APPE MAKER.So we called them guilt-free pakora. Both of us love using our appe pans because it’s such a great alternative to frying. We often hesitated to make recipes that involved frying. So now some of our favorites that we didn’t make that often can be made guilt free and healthy without frying.

Appe Pan is known differently in different parts of the world and it’s interesting to explore the different kinds of dishes made in it. It is also known as Paniyaram pan, Appampatra pan, Paddu, Unniappam,  Pan, Takoyaki Pan, Puff Pancake Pan, Paniyarakal pan.We can make savory,  sweet, spicy, crunchy, soft, moist, stuffed all kinds of balls in our Appe pans.

Today we are making corn fritters in appe pan . They are delicious, addictive and one of India’s most favourite tea time snacks .Serve them with a tangy and spicy green chutney or sweet tamarind chutney and do not forget the masala chai to go.
