Instant Naan Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cup milk
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 5 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp onion seeds
  • Garnishing
  • Butter
  • Coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Take milk in a medium-size pot, put it on high flame to boil. Once the boil comes, add yogurt, salt, and sugar to it. Let it curdle.
  • Now add baking powder to it and stir nicely with the spoon.
  • Now take a big bowl and add plain flour to it.
  • Add your curdled milk slowly to the flour and knead it with your hands. Make a soft dough.
  • Put a little oil on top of the dough and knead it again for a little while, tuck the dough with your hands, cover it with cling and rest it. Rest the dough for 15 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven at 180 degrees Celcius.
  • Sprinkle some plain flour on the platform, Punch the dough gently with your wrist and transfer it on the platform, knead and tuck your dough and make a round ball.
  • Divide your dough ball into four equal parts and make four round balls. With the help of a rolling pin, make a round naan of one cm thick.
  • Brush your naan with melted ghee and sprinkle some onion seeds on top of it.
  • Now put your naan in the preheated oven at top and bottom heat mode for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Serve hot with butter.
