Ingredients

boiled basmati rice

grated beetroot*

ginger and green chili paste**

garam masala

salt

tsp.
vinegar

tsp.
granulated sugar

tsp.
lemon juice
Corriander leaves
for garnishing

Instructions
Take out a frying pan and put it on your stove. Turn up the heat to medium flame and pour your vegetable oil on it and let it get slightly hot.
Now add your green chili and ginger paste in the frying pan and saute it for a few seconds.
Now add your grated beetroot and saute it until it gets soft.
Now add your spices (salt and garam masala) and add your boiled basmati rice in the frying pan. Saute for 2 minutes with a gentle hand.
Now we will add vinegar, lemon juice, and sugar on your rice and saute it for another 2 minutes.
Now your rice is ready! Sprinkle some coriander leaves on top and enjoy!
