Preheat the oven to two hundred Celsius. First, we have to make buttermilk, for that we will mix yogurt, milk, and lemon juice together. Keep this aside.
Now we will add the dry ingredients to a bowl and whisk them together. Grate the frozen butter in a bowl and mix it roughly with the hands, do not knead too much.
Roll the dough and divided it into four equal parts. Layer all the pieces of the dough on each other. Now roll this dough with the rolling pin gently into a 16 by 20 cm rectangle and the thickness should 2.5 cm. Cut them into 12 equal squares.
Brush these pieces with the melted butter and sprinkle the salt on them. Place these pieces on the baking sheet and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes.
We can serve these salted butter cookies with herbs butter or a jam.
