Thai Corn Salad Recipe!! We are going to discuss about one of our favourite recipe corn salad in thai style

Ingredients for Thai Corn Salad Recipe

  • 2 raw corn
  • 1/4 cup cabbage Julienne cut
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes Julienne cut
  • 1/4 cup cucumbers Julienne cut
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1 or 2 thai chilies
  • 1 tbsp. soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp. thai jaggery or 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp. tamarind paste
  • 1 tbsp. peanuts coarsely ground
  • 1/4 cup Thai basil
  • OR
  • Mint leaves according to you

Instructions

  • Chop your corn and boil it. Don’t make it very soft!
  • Take a mortar and crush your garlic and chili together than add your soya sauce and jaggery in it as well. Mix everything very well so the jaggery dissolves.
  • Now add salt, lime juice, and tamarind juice in the mortar as well and continue mixing.
  • Now add all of your chopped veggies and fruit(s) in the mortar (carrots, cucumber, cabbage, and tomatoes) and gently pound the veggies in it. You only want them to be slightly juicy.
  • Now take this mixture in a big bowl and now add your corn and thai basil in the bowl.
  • Mix everything together and sprinkle your peanuts OR mint leaves and enjoy!
