Cookie Recipes!! Father’s day is coming in a few days and you “may” be stuck. You could always go with the traditional (and boring) ideas like breakfast in bed or some sort of card. Or you could do something more heartfelt and toothsome. In this post we will showing 4 different cookie recipes which CAN be customized according to your family’s palate. All four recipes use the same batter, only different flavours.
Ingredients for Cookie Recipes
- 1 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup grain sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes at least.
- Take a medium size bowl, add all the dry ingredients in it and mix them. Now we will add butter in this mix and make the crumbly mixture. It means it should look like bread crumbs. we can store this mixture in fridge in a tight container for good for three months.
- Flavours you can add in your cookies:
- Orange Coffee Mix:
- 1 cup cookie mix
- 1/2 tbsp. milk
- 1/2 tbsp. coffee powder
- 1/2 tbsp. orange zest
- Choco Cookies:
- 1 cup cookie mix
- 1/2 tbsp. milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder or chocolate chips
- Cinnamon Walnut Cookies:
- 1 cup cookie mix
- 1/2 tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp crushed walnuts
- Which ever flavour you want mix it with basic cookie mixture in bowl, and make a cookie dough.
- Make a equal size 8 balls from the dough and put on the baking tray line with parchment paper.
- Bake at preheated oven at 180 degree for 10 minutes. Your cookies are ready.
