Hey there, Diwali is approaching and we will be busy with Diwali decors and family and friends dinners. Diwali is the Indian new year which lasts for five days. It is one of the major festivals in India, from the 13th day of the dark half of the lunar month ashvina to the second day of the light half of the lunar month Kartika.
Diwali is the festival of lights and it’s the most celebrated festival of India. This year I cleaned my home a little early. I prepared my list of what I will prepare for my Diwali dinners. This year I thought to make some simple snacks and sweets and in that list, there is paneer tikka bite. It’s almost an easy thing to make other than that it’s most easy to serve. Basically in dinners, we always want to prepare dishes which we can easily prepare. we don’t want any fussy dishes.
Paneer tikka is the most famous snacks r you can say dish in India. It is served in most restaurants, marriages, and parties. Paneer tikka is made of chunks of paneer marinated in yogurt which has a lot of spices and are then arranged on sticks with capsicum, onions, and tomatoes, But here in our recipe we little twist the recipe instead of grilling paneer tikka on a griller we cook it fry pan and serve in tarts made by bread. So let’s start the recipe.
Paneer Tikka
- 100 gm paneer cut into small cubes
- 1 medium size onion (diced into medium chunks)
- 1 medium size capcicum (diced into medium chunks)
- 1 cup hung curd
- 1 tbsp schezwan sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp haldi powder
- 1 tsp salt
To Marinate paneer, take a medium size bowl ,add hung curd, schezwan sauce,vinegar haldi powder and salt to it. Mix them well with the spoon.
- Put panner on a muslin cloth and remove all extra water.Now cut panner into small cubes pieces.
Add panner, capcicum and onion to the hung curd mixture.Mix them gently with the soft hands, so the paneer get well coated. Keep the Marinate panner in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Till paneer get marinated we will prepare out bread tarts. Take the bread slice and cut it in circle with the help of cutter. put this slice on the tart mould and put it in oven for baking till it get golden brown. Oven should be preheated at 180 degree celcius.
Take a medium size non stick pan and put on medium flame. Put marinated panner on pan and cook for atleast 10 to 15 minutes on medium low flame, until it get golden brown.
