Layered Almond Milk Cake
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup rabri
- 1 tin or fresh rasgulla
- Vanilla Sponge Cake
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- Finely Chopped Almonds
- Finely Chopped Pistachios
- A pinch of saffron

- Making the Cream
- The cream is made of two things: the whipped cream and rabri.
- First let’s make the rabri:
- Making the Rabri:
- Ingredients:
- 1 liter whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- A pinch of saffron
- Grease a non-stick pan with butter and add milk. Turn the heat up and wait for it to boil.
- Once it boils, slow down the flame, and continue boiling it until 20 to 25 minutes until it becomes thick.
- Now add sugar and saffron and let it cook for 10 minutes.
- You can buy whipped cream from here.
- Whip cream on a high speed for 5-6 minutes until it gets peak.
- Separately, blend your rabdi and sugar.
- Now fold whipped cream with your blended mixture.
- Put this mixture into a piping bag.
- Now cut your rasgulla’s halfway through.
- Now cut your cake into shapes of your jar.
- Now let’s start making the actual dessert. Start by taking an empty jar. Now place one piece of cake in the bottom of the jar and add a layer of cream on top of it. Now add a layer of rasgulla slices. Repeat this again until you get to the top of the jar. Garnish it with saffron and pistachios. Enjoy!
