Instant Chaat (Easy-to-follow!)
- 2 medium size cucumber
- 2 medium size potato (parboiled)
- ¼ cup chana dal namkeen (haldiram)
- ¼ cup boiled moong sprouts
- ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
- ¼ cup fresh coriander (finely chopped)
- 1 small chilli (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp chaat masala (adjust according to taste)
- 2 tsp lemon juice
First, wash your cucumber nicely, and cut it in cylindrical shape about 2cm in height. Scoop them with the help of the scopper ,make sure you don't scoop it completely. Leave the base as it is.Now peel your boiled potatoes and follow the steps as salad cucumber. Keep cucumber and boiled potatoes for 30 minutes in the refrigerator to cool.
In a medium size bowl,add chana dal, boiled sprouts, pomegranate, chilli, coriander, chaat masala, lemon juice and leftover potatoes finely chopped .
Mix them well with the help of a spoon or spatula.
Take out cucumber and potatoes from the refrigerator. Fill the moxture we made above in the scooped potatoes and cucumber with the help of a spoon/spatula. Garnish with some additional lemon juice and coriander leaves.
