Sizzler
- ¾ cup white rice cooked
- 2-4 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ cup cabbage (chopped)
- ¼ cup carrots (chopped carrots,)
- ¼ cup capsicum (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ cup green chopped spring onions
- 1 pkt hakka noodles (boiled)
- 1 cup cabbage (thinly chopped)
- 4 cloves garlic (chopped finely)
- ½ cup onions (thinly chopped)
- ½ inch ginger (grated)
- ½ cup capsicum (thinly chopped)
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- ½ tsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp chilli sauce
- Mixed vegetable (cabbage, carrots , cauliflower and capsicum 3 cups finely chopped)
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- ¼ cup cornstarch
- Salt to taste
- Red chilli to taste
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 1/2 tsp green chillies
- Oil for fryingManchurian balls
- ½ capsicum (chopped thinly)
- ½ onions (chopped thinly)
- 2 tsp schezwan sauce
- 12 tsp tomato ketchup
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp garlic
- ¼ tsp green chilies
- 1 tsp butter
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- Black pepper
- 1 tsp tomato ketchup
- ¼ tsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp chilli sauce (adjust according to your taste)
- 1 cup water
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp oil
Fried rice
- Heat the butter or oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat on the stove.
- Add the diced onion and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the onion pieces become
- translucent. Now add garlic , cabbage and capsicum and saute them .
- Season with salt & pepper.
- Add the rice and stir to combine all of the ingredients.
- Add the soy sauce and toss to fully incorporate and coat the rice. Continue to cook 2-3 minutes or until warmed through
- Sprinkle spring onions to garnish.
Chow Mein
- Heat the oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Saute the minced garlic and chopped onion until translucent.
- Add the other vegetables. Now add the julienned carrots and chopped celery, and cook until softened (but still slightly crisp). Then add in the chopped cabbage and sliced pepper. Stir the full wok for about 4 minutes using wooden spoons.
- Add the sauce ingredients. Pour the vinegar, soy sauce, and chilli sauce into the wok and stir to combine.
- Then add the boiled hakka noodles. Stir for 3-5 minutes, allowing the heat of the wok to help them separate. Remove from the heat and serve warm.
Manchurian balls
- Heat oil in a pan, add in chopped veggies and saute it for a couple of mins. Remove it to a bowl and cool it down. Add in flour, salt, chilli flakes and mix it well.
- Shape it into balls.
- Now heat oil for deep frying, drop the balls in and fry till golden brown. Drain onto some paper towel and set aside.
Sauce
- Heat oil in a pan, add in spring onion white part, ginger, garlic and chillies, saute for 2 to 3 mins.
- Add in all the sauces, salt, sugar, chilli flakes and mix well.
- Now add in the fried balls and toss well in the sauce.
- Now add in spring onion green and mix well.
Sizzler sauce
- Take a medium size pan , add oil in it . When the oil get hot add garlic and ginger , saute them. In a separate bowl take corn starch and add ¼ cup of water stir it nicely. Add this paste and keep it stirring.
- Now add the remaining water, salt , ketchup, chilli sauce and soy sauce. Keep on string till the boil come.
- Leave this sauce on sim gas for another five minutes and than close the gas. Sauce is ready.
How to assemble the sizzler
- Keep the sizzler plate on the gas and once the plate get hot , place some cabbage leaves to cover the surface of the sizzler. Pur at one corner some rice, place manchurian balls near to it. Put some hakka noodle on the tray.If you see that some place is left just put some sauted veggies.
- Once you see that your sizzler plate is enough hot put thet plate on the wooden tray. Now pour the hot sizzler sauce on the plate which will give it sizzling effect and it will enhance the taste of your sizzler plate.
